Award winning documentairemaker Brandon Vedder volgde muzikant David Bazan op zijn weg van optreden naar optreden. Strange Negatiations biedt een zeer persoonlijk inkijkje in de levens van mensen die onmiskenbaar beïnvloed zijn door de Amerikaanse evangelische kerken. Strange Negatiationt toont mensen die op zoek zijn naar het gesprek over geloof, religieuze systemen en betekenisgeving.
